Low Frequency Entity
low frequency entity - subcycle labs from christian bannister on Vimeo.
Christian Bannister from Subcycle Labs has created a patch for visual multi-touch manipulation of a bass synth (Native Instruments Massive). He's using Processing to create a representation of the bass sound, with various parameters controlled by the user, this demo both looks and sounds pretty amazing!

Pressure Sensitive Keyboad
Apparently engineers at Microsoft are working (or have completed) a pressure sensitive keyboard. I can definitely see this being useful to a laptop musician such as myself who sometimes must use the computer keyboard for note entry (as in Abletons keyboard mode) and who wants to get a bit of 'feel' into their bars.

Carl Craig. At Cité de la Musique, Paris, France
Never seen this before. It's an hour long session with Carl Craig and a live Orchestra. Lovely jazz infused strings with live detroit beats and Carl Craig tweaking a Doepfer Eurorack on stage for electronic bubbles and fx. It's pretty tasty in parts. Carl Craig has some mixing capabilities and when he starts to warm things up the tracks happen. It starts off a bit dodgy but it warms up quick enough. - via grandcrew
